On January 27th, the Troop went to Klondike at Quail Hill. It was an event that everyone seemed to enjoy, and some of us did the night before, camping in Devlin Lodge as well. Compared to the other troops, we got an average score of 426.5 between both of our patrols.
On December 16th and 17th from about 9:00am – 3pm each day, Tyler will be installing horseshoe pits at Thompson Park in Monroe (next to the volleyball court by the lake.) If any boy scouts are going to be helping out, make sure to dress for the weather, and also bring gloves and a shovel if you can. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to anyone there.
On October 14th and October 15th (this weekend), the boy scouts will be helping put out luminaries (bags with candles in them) along the paths for a cemetery tour. We’d like as many scouts that can to go there over the weekend to help out. The East Brunswick Museum will be hosting the event, and Mrs. Waite will be there.
If you are going to show up to help, try to be there at about 5:00 PM to help with the setup.
